What You Can Where You Are |
|
|
|
President Theodore Roosevelt counseled his fellow Americans years ago, under other trying circumstances, to "Do what you can, with what you have, right where you are."
It is a very Unity statement! He calls us to put into practice the Truth that we understand right here and right now.
There is no point waiting for greater understanding, or more clarification, for more ability or more time. Work with what you have and who you are.
So, who are you? My answer to that question is that you are a beautiful and loved child of God filled with everything you need to live a happy, loving and successful life.
The birth of Jesus the Christ in the ordinary stable of everyday life is a yearly reaffirmation of that continuous spiritual birth in awareness. The message of Christmas, for me, is that God loves us, unconditionally, and perpetually pours out the Spirit of wholeness, wisdom and love, into our consciousness.
Do we dare to accept this great gift? Why not? The more difficult the times and circumstances, the greater the blessing of allowing God in. Don't wait. Claim the transformative power of God in your life this holiday season. There can be no greater gift for you to receive . . . and give.
In Your name and nature dear God.
Blessings,
